The Western Mountaineering Terralite, the latest addition to our Extremelite Series, is a wide sleeping bag designed for side sleeping comfort. Its features include a 12 denier ripstop nylon shell fabric and a 15 denier nylon taffeta lining material. The bag is equipped with two zippers, allowing it to be mated with our mummy bags, and the second zipper opens the bag up completely around the foot. With both zippers open, this bag can serve as a wide "camper van" comforter, but even when zipped up, it remains extremely comfortable, thanks to its wide girth through the middle of the bag, a design that side sleepers will find ideal.
Despite its comfortable shape, this down sleeping bag weighs less than two pounds. The Terralite has a length of 6ft 0in, with an inside girth of 65in at the shoulder, 68in at the hip, and 42in at the foot. It is filled with 18 ounces of 850 plus fill power goose down, and the total weight of the bag is 1 lb 13 oz. The stuff sack size is 7in x 13in.
The Terralite is made with a lightweight 12 denier shell fabric that is water-resistant, durable, and downproof. It features a full-length #5 YKK zipper with an insulated draft tube and a second zipper at the foot box that allows the bag to be opened completely. The bag also has 5 1/4IN spacing/continuous baffles that encircle it from zipper to zipper, allowing the user to shift the down insulation to fit their ideal temperature.
The Terralite has a temperature rating of 25° F and a loft of 5IN. It is made in the USA, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. With its comfortable design, lightweight construction, and versatile features, the Western Mountaineering Terralite is an excellent choice for side sleepers and those seeking a versatile and reliable sleeping bag for their outdoor adventures.
